The self-cleaning bag filter is an improvement on the traditional bag filter. It allows for the cleaning of the filter bag without stopping the machine and disassembling it, and it is a higher-level filter compared to the traditional bag filter. The principle of the self-cleaning bag filter can be summarized in one sentence: "Dirty water enters the filter bag → impurities are intercepted → the pressure difference increases → automatic cleaning is triggered → continue filtering after discharging the sewage."

The self-cleaning bag filter is suitable for industries where the cost of manual filter bag cleaning is high, users who want continuous production but need to stop the machine to replace the filter bag, and also for the situation where the water contains a large amount of impurities, such as wastewater with a large number of suspended solids and fibers. When choosing a self-cleaning bag filter, you must follow the 4 steps I have summarized and determine them one by one, so that you will definitely not make mistakes in the model selection. 1. Determine the precision: Select the appropriate precision of the filter bag according to the size of the impurities, which can range from 1 to 200 microns. 2. Check the flow rate: When making the selection, the flow rate of the selected equipment must be at least 20% greater than your actual flow rate. 3. Check the viscosity: When the liquid viscosity is greater than 500cp, you can directly give up choosing the bag filter, as it will be severely blocked. Alternatively, you can add a heating device to solve this problem. Without a heating device, it will be blocked to an extent that will make you despair. 4. Check the filter bag material: For filtering corrosive liquids, use PP/PTFE filter bags. For high-temperature liquids above 80°C, stainless steel mesh filter bags can be used.
